Ok so I'm trying to clone my disk. But before I do that. How do I partition my drive or is it easier if I clone the entire drive over then do the partitioning?

@v.Kamikaze If I remember right you said to clone my drive first then change my boot to my bigger HDD and unplug my old boot than just hotswap back in? Is hotswap also known as hot plug? Cause on my BIOS it shows as hot plug on my Sata's

  1. clone it
  2. set it as main boot device
  3. hot plug your old drive
  4. change drive letters of your old drive (diskmgmt.msc)
  5. delete files you dont need
  6. etc... you can partition the drive afterwards using G-Parted from the UBCD
 
Partition is no go. What kami said. My coworker who was doing his first build himself made this mistake.
 
There is software that will allow you to adjust partitions and save data but you have to use that software as Windows will just make two clean partitions and some one will be crying a river.
 
Thanks for the info guys.

Been lazy and havent done my cloning :( So I see my 2nd drive as a USB ATA device and cant view/access it on My Computer.
