See the NBA in my opinion is more of an individual sport so I root for players not teams. If that makes any sense to anyone else
Not really, they are an older team, they will suck during playoffs.
Miami is getting up there with personnel age.
I think the team to watch out for this year in the east would be Pacers & Sixers. Those guys are 4 real this year.
The west, damn, it's going to be a heated one this year with the Thunders getting Westbrook back, also Clippers, Minnesota, Spurs, Golden State...jesus, that is going to be the best conference this year.

The east is going to come down to Miami, Chicago, and Indiana. The east is wide open though. Spurs are an older team and you can never count them out, Golden State has probably the best shooters in the back court in the NBA, Clippers got Doc Rivers who is a genius at getting the best out of his players especially on the defensive side, the Thunder because how can you count out Kevin Durant and Westbrook and I think the team everyone is over looking is Memphis. The have shooters on the perimeter and the bigs to play with anyone
im counting out the spurs... @kazuo Kiriyama will disagree, lol. i'm also counting out my lakers, but whatever, their bench is entertaining. my clips... oh my clips... we'll see what cp3 can do. east? im hoping dRose knocks out the king and co.
Okay, after the first week and half here are my thoughts:
Pacers: These guys are for real this year, the real question is, can they keep this up until the playoffs?
Sixers: Young team, their rookies are playing well, they have a real shot at winning this division this year with Boston and Brooklyn really not doing much atm.
Heat: Slow start, but we know they will pick up the pace.
OKC: They will be in the playoffs, they need to take it easy with Russel Westbrook and limit his minutes, you cannot have him play like he did the last few years, he needs to play less so you can save him for the playoffs. Without him OKC is nothing.
Spurs: They will be in the playoffs again and be a contender to win the championship again.
Clippers: They will likely win the division.
Pacers: These guys are for real this year, the real question is, can they keep this up until the playoffs?

Too early to say for sure, and I am not a fool enough to say who is going to win before the playoffs have even begun. But this is a general idea on what I think the seeds will look like. I Mainly wanna put it on record and see how close I am to the actual turnout. I love this season so far. So many AMAZING teams. Last year I pretty much knew it was going to be Heat vs Spurs, though most of y'all doubted it. Very close series. Spurs have more talent this year, and their younger members are looking even better than last year. Also Parker has been incredible so far. Not to mention he won the Euro basketball championship over the summer with France.
My second favorite team is the Raptors, they are going to have a turn around season and make the playoffs for sure this year. If they improve as they should over the season catching a 4-6th seed spot. That is as long as they don't trade Gay or a few of the other key components to their squad. This is just a feeling but I think they can make it to conference finals if they get some good match ups. As long as they don't face Heat or pacers too early in it.

Even though it is early in the season the west is already showing that they are the stronger conference.

Also this is the farthest from the truth you can possibly be. A generic response to this is Jordan on the wizards and Lebron on the Cavs. Every single thing you do in this game in about teamwork. Passing, assists, screens. Now Baseball I could understand, but Basketball seriously? Amazing players are put on shitty teams with even shittier coaches all the time that is why they don't win. Look at the behemoth that was Memphis last year, and now look at them. They fired their great coach and have begun their decrease into mediocrity once again. Spurs are another example of how the game is team oriented. None of them are amazing scorers or put up out of this world numbers(maybe in the past but definitely not now). But they have made it to the playoffs the what last 15-16 years? Max most of them play like 22-25 mins. The bench is averaging 45 points so far this season. Pacers are another great example of teamwork. So I would have to respectfully disagree. hah
