Update!
His life is currently on a string and waiting for a lung transplant...Just wanted to let you guys know that this virus isn't a joke. It attacks people differently so don't take it too lightly.
Stay safe brothers!!!

I'm still going in to work. I cant really work from home for it ;/.

TBH i think i had it back in January. I had a shitty headache for a while also had a sore throat that was just there but didn't develop a cough. Around the same time I had about 6 coworkers who had Pnumonia at the time and I DEFINITELY interacted with them around that time too... :/ I'm in SD and the do believe the cases arent that high in SoCal cause we had our first wave back then. Sadly due to lack of testing cant confirm if i have Antibodies or not.

I might be goin back to work soon. They've started pulling other departments back in. No date set for my department, though.

Wow, lucky that your case wasn't that bad.

I have an "uncle" that died within 2 weeks of treating COVID-19 patients - he had underlying medical conditions, though. He shouldn't have been working, but they didn't know the patient had COVID-19 until it was too late. There have been 4 deaths in my extended family during this pandemic, and one in my immediate family. It sux not being able to attend the funerals.

Being an essential worker since my company is in the health sector its been rough going to into work while 3/4 of the employees are working from home.
Just life of an IT department :(
I finally got the ok to work remotely from home 3 times a week finally since this whole thing hit the fan.

@v.Kamikaze Sorry to hear that man. My grandmother passed away last month due to Covid-19 hitting her senior living center causing 20+ seniors to get infected along with the nurse and helpers there.

@Hunter keeping prayers for your friend it sucks how some people were taking these lightly. Honestly little surprise USA didn't prepare better for this, but this Covid-19 is gonna be a continuous thing imo just like the terrible flu we get seasonally.

L honestly I think me and few of my co-workers had them as well December - Feb we had a really bad flu that had symptoms similar to Covid-19 beside 1 needing to go to the ER most of us were fine after 3 weeks or so. I'm curious if I built any anti-body or not but I know we have drive thru testing going on little more now I just didn't have a chance to do it...

You should get an antibody test.
