WTF Stye you own a ranch?! And I haven't been getting complimentary tri-tip?!?!

I have been working on this guitar for about 6 months, thinking it up for about a year. I have an SD Jazz SH-2 on the neck, an Invader SH-8 on the bridge. That's a tele neck with a tele-esque neck pocket (I left the neck pocket extended so I can file it down and make a smooth joint from the neck to the body). I've strung it twice so far and managed to intonate the strings and get really low action with minimal buzzing. Probably going to need to shim the neck, adjust the nut, and adjust the tune-o-matic bridge I'm using to match the flatness of the fretboard. And then I gotta wire the pickups and controls (should only take an hour) and find a lacquer that isn't going to dampen the african mahogany. Estimated time left: 4 weeks.

@Vinnie Paz: all that gear & weapons weigh like a ton on a very long road march. Part of reason why I didn't like the Army much. I'm a little guy and my fully-loaded-rucksack, helmet, LBE, M16 (sometimes M60), etc weighed almost half my weight. I was about 138lbs.

I love photography but I am totally an amateur so I hope you guys don't mind if I share some of my favorites. I don't do any editing, except for crop, and I usually let my camera do all the work. :/

Recent panoramic I put together from 3 photos I took of Rainier on a recent hike/scramble up Pinnacle Peak with my girlfriend.

My friend took this one. I am looking down at the scramble we just went up. We are only halfway up to the 14k peak. All scramble!
