    Hey, does anyone have solar panels for their home? if so, did you buy or lease? which company? do you have a battery?

    I dont own or lease solar panels but I heard mixed reviews for both ways. The main issue with installing solar panel in your roof is making sure the guys install it correctly. Had couple of the neighbors next to my parent's place complaining about poor installation which cause their roofs to leak. Another thing is the process to get the solar panels installed and wired to your meter is a PITA and Loooooooonnnnnnnnggggg.

    For company I would go with SolarCity. Telsa currently is pending sales to acquire SolarCity if I remember right or they might already own SolarCity now.

    Just fyi solar panels will cost you quite a bit if you want to buy. You're looking at maybe 4 panels minimum. I would say look into the lease program and see how much that will cost you.
