That was truly an epic and awesome read, Syn. That is the stuff that keeps most of us coming back for more with games like CSS. It is also good to see some of us... ehem, mid-aged guys, still hanging around and keeping these punks in line :-P
Pretty sure I recall you stopping by the server and Elemental or NRLP pointing you out to us pubbers. Good to have you around and hope you and your son enjoy some good times together on the server. We definitely strive to make the server a more mature gathering spot and so far it has worked out well for us. Take care and hope to catch you in game some time soon.

Right fuckin On! The other three guys who were part of the Gang of Four Founders were, ZeRoToXiC, Rai/Gangsta, and, well you see, it's kinda funny. ZeRoToXiC had been in =KUL= but got kicked out, ZeRoToXiC was on -SMO- (Serious Members Only) when I was, and Rai was Gangsta=KUL= but quit =KUL=.
(IceWolf remember how BAD we spanked Killerz Un-Leashed, when during the match that THEY challenged US (The 47Ronin) to? I took a screenshot of the extended kill history, and =KUL= did not have a single kill registered in 16 lines of kill history, LMFAO, and I posted that SS on our website for all the BHD community to see, lol, I almost lost friends in =KUL=from that..)
The last founder was a friend of ours, but was not the kind of friend who looked for the rest of us when he got online. He was in TeamSpeak with Gangsta ZeRo and me and part of the discussion from the very first mention of the idea of forming an elite BHD squad. As far as I am concerned, and I bet others would back me up on this, ZeRo and Gangsta were among the very best players =KUL= ever had in their ranks, I don't intend to toot my own horn, but, I will modestly acknowledge that I was pretty damn good at BHD back in the day. The fourth Founder was also a great BHD player, but he was granted Founder status, because he was there and part of the planning and naming, of The 47Ronin, and, true and typical of the way he would flit around from server to server hanging with one group or squad and then another, I think it was the next day, no more than two or three days after 47R was born, he fuckin QUIT! LOL But, at this very moment, a simply cannot remember no matter how hard I try, what his fucking NAME was!!! LMFAO

Yep, I remember that too, it just doesn't feel like its been 4 or 5 years since I was playing CS:S trying to become anywhere near as effective as I was in BHD. I still find the bullet telemetry and registry baffling, but I am figuring out again which weaps work for me and in which situations.
It's only been a day or two, but so far it looks like everything about the site and community are vastly improved. It appears very true to my original vision of a casual relaxed online, not neccessarily gaming, (but neccessarily GAMING!) community, if y'all get my drift. Casual, friendly, respectful, light on drama, lotsa laughs...It's a bit like CHEER'S online..lol Where everybody knows your name...If your name is sYndrome!Last edited by The Original sYn(drome); 02-08-2012 at 01:05 AM.
